The meaning behind " Shelter Me".
This design has a similar meaning to "Cover Me". It represents the strength and resilience of Pacific peoples throughout the generations that have preserved their cultures. The patterns are seen guarding or "sheltering" the Hibiscus flowers in the center. This is to suggest strength, reliance, and protection over the more vulnerable, graceful, and elegant sides of the Pacific. Note* The patterns chosen for this design combine motifs inspired by the beautiful cultures from the islands of Fiji and the Cook Islands.
This beautifully designed sarong is 2.3 meters in length, which is longer than our previous sarongs, which are 2 meters long. They are 100% rayon and are just the most beautiful pieces to add to your collection of Pacific treasures.
